Mega Concert: Anime Divas Unite!
This year’s festival, organized by Nirvana Producciones, features the “Divas del Anime” concert. Esteemed artists like Gaby Vega, Marisa de Lille, Maggie Vera, and Jade will perform alongside Costa Rica’s own band Zukia. They will bring to life iconic anime themes from Inuyasha, Shaman King, Pokémon, Fairy Tail, Digimon, Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump, Sailor Moon, and more. This special concert will be held on December 17 on the main stage, set in the heart of the Antigua Aduana’s brick nave.
Contests Galore
Kuri Fest offers a slew of contests, including the iconic cosplay couple contest, where enthusiasts showcase their skills in character portrayal. There’s also a spicy ramen contest for the daring and a Geeky Christmas Boot contest to bring a festive touch to popular characters.

A Japanese culture event isn’t complete without cosplayers. Esteemed artists like Iand Dixon, Molecular Agatha, Usagi Cosplay, and Lala Docampo will grace this year’s Kuri Fest.

Tickets are priced at ¢6,200 per day and can be purchased online at kurifest.nirvana-cr.com or at the event venue. Children under 5 and seniors enter free. The festival is family-friendly and has been a staple in Costa Rica every December for twelve editions.
