QCOSTARICA — Following are the official channels of the eight electricity distribution companies in Costa Rica that used to publish information regarding power outages starting Monday, May 13.
The State power light and power utility, the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE), was clear that the distributors have the obligation to inform their customers of the areas and times in which electrical service will be interrupted.

- The electricity distribution companies will publish on their websites and social networks the rationing schedules and the areas that will be affected.

While it is expected that power cuts will be not more than 3 hours at a time and between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, power outages will differ at each provider. Clients should review such information as to times and days they will be affected.

In extreme cases, power outages may be between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm.
