QCOSTARICA — Texas Tech University Costa Rica announces an unprecedented event that invites participants to explore the future of the space economy and the impact of AI on industries with industry experts.
This panel, titled “Space Economy: Opportunities for Costa Rica,” will take place on March 20 at 6:00 pm at Texas Tech University, located on Avenida Escazú, building 205.
For the first time in Costa Rica, international leaders in space economics will gather to discuss how the country can position itself in this growing industry.

- Chad Anderson: Author of “The Space Economy” and Managing Partner at Space Capital, will provide his perspective on current and future trends in the sector.
- Isabel Sánchez: Director of Commercial Strategy and Investments at Ad Astra Rocket Company, both in the United States and Costa Rica, will share her experience in technological innovation and business development in the space industry.
- Alina Nassar: Partner at Nassar Abogados, who will contribute her legal and regulatory perspective on the space economy.
- Flippo Fonseca: Aerospace and mechatronics engineer from Yale.
- Moderated by Carolina Sánchez Chacón, Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Sector at PROCOMER.

The space industry is booming and is projected to reach US$1.8 trillion by 2035.
