Mexican culture will make its way to Costa Rica with a celebration filled with music, tradition, and flavor. The “Vive México en Costa Rica: Celebrando Nuestras Independencias” festival will bring together hundreds of people at the Nebula Center in Aurora de Heredia on September 13 and 14.
The Mexican-Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce (CICOMEX), the event’s organizer, emphasized that this activity seeks to strengthen cultural ties between the two nations.
Uniting the best of Mexico with the warmth of Costa Rica
“It will be a gathering that unites the best of Mexico with the warmth of Costa Rica, an opportunity for families to enjoy our traditions,” stated the organizers. The production is led by NuNu Producciones and has the support of Visa and Banco Popular as official sponsors. According to those responsible, the idea is to create an inclusive space where entertainment, culture, and gastronomy come together.
During the two-day festival, attendees will be able to explore a wide range of cuisines, including typical Mexican dishes, pastries, and beverages. In addition, there will be tastings and cultural demonstrations that reflect the richness of the North American country. The program also includes artistic performances, musical presentations, and family activities, including games and interactive spaces.
“We want everyone who comes to have a complete experience: from tasting an authentic taco to listening to music that transports us to Mexico,” the organizers added.
Celebration and joy
Furthermore, the event is shaping up to be a meeting point for the Mexican community living in Costa Rica and for Costa Ricans interested in learning more about this culture. “Where there is celebration, there is joy, and where there is joy, we are all family,” underscores the festival’s motto, which seeks to convey a sense of unity and brotherhood. Finally, CICOMEX emphasized that this festival is not only a cultural showcase, but also a gesture of fraternity. “Mexico and Costa Rica share values, history, and a spirit of celebration. This space is for everyone who wants to enjoy and feel part of a big family,” they stated in the statement.
Thus, “Vive México en Costa Rica” promises to become one of the most notable cultural activities of September, bringing together flavors, sounds, and emotions that transcend borders in one place.
