The official IMN weather forecast for today, April 22, 2025:
This Tuesday, the influence of a high-pressure system north of the Caribbean Sea basin persists, causing an acceleration of the trade winds. At the same time, there is an increase in atmospheric instability and higher moisture content over southern Central America.
These factors favor variable cloudiness ranging from partial to total, and scattered rainfall in the Caribbean and Northern Zone, especially between the early morning and morning hours. In the afternoon, rain is expected in the mountains, and precipitation cannot be ruled out during the nighttime period.
