QCOSTARICA — Cleto Miranda, father of the 40-year-old pilot from Limón who died this Monday in an airplane accident in Escazú, died when he was the same age as his son, in a similar accident.
It was on January 15, 2000, when Cleto left Tobias Bolanos in Pavas in a small plane with more than 15 people on board, but after 1:00 pm the aircraft crashed into a house in the Rohrmoser sector.
On January 30, 15 days after the accident, Cleto died in the hospital.

This Monday, his son, Mario Miranda, died as a result of the plane crashing on Cerro Pico Blanco, in Escazú.
On this occasion, 5 of the 6 occupants, including the pilot and co-pilot, died, and a 31-year-old woman was the only survivor.
