QCOSTARICA — Costa Rica’s cruise season began on Monday with the arrival of the RS Rotterdam, a Pinnacle-class cruise ship operated by Holland America Line, with more than 2,400 passengers and 900 crew, at the Port of Limón.
Starting this week and through April 2025, the Caribbean port is expected to receive 92 arrivals, nine less that the last season.
Like the previous season, there will be dates where the Limón Port terminal will receive three cruises on the same day.

“The Costa Rican Caribbean will receive some 190,000 tourists and 78,000 crew this season, who will live great experiences and the multiple contributions to culture and tourism that this land offers,” said William Rodríguez, Minister of Tourism.
This year, JAPDEVA will once again open its doors with guided tours of the Port, in addition to photographic exhibitions of the province and the promotion of each of its cantons month by month with the involvement of local governments because the province of Limón is a land of opportunities.
