Smarsh continues global expansion with office in Costa Rica

QCOSTARICA — Smarsh, the U.S.-based global leader in digital communications data and intelligence, inaugurated its new office in Costa Rica on Wednesday, its sixth Center of Excellence.

Located in Ultrapark I in Heredia, the company intends to strengthen the support and attention it provides to its clients around the world, including 19 of the top 20 global financial institutions.

The multinational selected Costa Rica for its highly skilled technology talent and proximity to other global companies like Amazon, Intel and Microsoft, with plans to hire 50 people during the first year of operation in the country, initially for marketing and customer service roles.

This move is about laying the groundwork for the future – where Smarsh leads the way in transforming how businesses use their communications data to protect the truth and prevent risk.”

Smarsh, which has offices in the U.S., EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), APAC (Asia-Pacific), and now LATAM (Latin America), views Costa Rica as crucial to its operational execution.
